The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency reported it is alarmed in regards to the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area every day. The service stage created for intervention ordeals a substantial influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more means to permit the servicing of all customers and enhance access to sassa Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
